You can use the TPF right away with the digital explanations in the TPF itself, the information on this website, and the examples in the e-book. The ‘inside’ and the ‘outside’ of a text

We’re all used to discuss a text (a final product) AFTER production. That’s too late. It’s far more effective to discuss the product specifications BEFORE you produce a text.

By using the text strategy method, ‘Three Steps to Powerful Words‘, you focus on the ‘inside‘ (invisible choices) instead of on the ‘outside‘ (visible parts: structure, wording, and spelling) of a text. A text strategy training to improve your skills of using the TPF increases the effect of texts for you individually and for you and your colleagues as a team. You will discover an approach to writing different from the approach you’ve learned at school or further education. Why is text strategy useful?

So, if you have an assignment that makes communication necessary, don’t start writing immediately, but fill in the Text Preparation Form, the digital tool TPF before your fingers touch the keyboard (Dutch version, TVF). De projectgroep Direct Duidelijk van het ministerie van Binnenlandse Zaken biedt sinds het voorjaar van 2021 de tool TVF voor tekststrategie aan via het menu 'hulpmiddelen' op de website.
