Learning by comparing
In the E-learning Text Strategy, you’ll be working on producing a text according to the text strategy method Three Steps to Powerful Words. In STEP 1 and 2 you’ll start with structured text preparation by discussing and documenting your choices. The third step is the actual production of the text, based on the choices you have made. The digital tool TPF provides a simple way to apply the method.
Choose your own communication context to start with or you just use the example presented in the first lesson. In both cases, you will learn to apply text strategy by comparing your choices step-by-step to those of the trainer. Immediately after submitting a step, you will receive an email message with feedback and some suggestions for reviewing your own choices. In this way, you will discover how to make your own texts more powerful, whether they need to be produced, reviewed, or rewritten.
Thinking through and documenting your choices
The primary purpose of the E-learning Text Strategy is to get used to a new way of thinking through and documenting your choices BEFORE you start producing the words. Text strategy helps you to build powerful words that will open doors that until now have been closed. The digital tool TPF provides a simple way to apply the method.
